For instance, longer sessions (90+ minutes) because it is more effective in helping couples experience how to make necessary shifts in their relationship. I've known Dr. Thomas Mahan for many years now we met while his time in the PNW, he came into my life when I was least expecting it. It was a very crucial time and I didn't even realize it. Believe the other reviews that said Thomas mahan will disappear and won’t show up for your appointment. I’m talking about missing 5-6 appointments at least! I called, texted and showed up on his driveway for my appointment but he’s no where to be found. Once you meet him a couple of times then you’ll start feeling/noticing something is off. Don’t waste your time and money. Go somewhere else!
We had been going to marriage therapy for 10 years, but it wasn’t until we met Dr. Mahan (our 4th therapist) that I finally felt significant movement in our relationship. He swindled us!! Says he accepts BCBS but he doesn’t and is now not answering the phone because he owes us 1,000$. Also SUCKS at communicating appointment. Very unprofessional.
I wish I could give zero or negative stars. It is frankly despicable how this “practice” treats patients. The “office manager” emailed me a few days before my appointment was scheduled to get additional information from me and to ask where to send paperwork for me and my husband to fill out. I texted and called the number several times and never received an answer.
