As a 43 year old female I was afraid my hearing issues meant I needed hearing aids and put off going to have it checked. Unfortunately ignoring it didn’t help (probably made it worse), and I yes I do need hearing aids. To my surprise I absolutely love having them. Thank you Dr Christie Cahill! Last year I judged science fair and was incredibly frustrated for hours as I desperately tried to hear what the contestants were saying. I don't have a real volume issue, but I struggle to distinguish the sounds and other voices in noisy environments from the person speaking right in front of me.
