Back in 2011 or 2012, I broke off a corner of a molar 24 hours before leaving for a 10 day vacation. Luckily Family Dentistry was able to get me in for an emergency appt, right before I left. Dr. John Mike put in a "temporary" cap, to protect the molar. He told me that it should protect the molar for 60-90 days, but I needed to get back in and have the permanent work done on the tooth.
