I’ll start by saying Dr. Brock Lewis is a very good dentist, which is why I gave this three stars — fair is fair. That said, the way this appointment was handled was extremely frustrating. While I was driving to Blair for my appointment, I received a call at 2:12 PM telling me I was late. I told them I thought my appointment was at 2:30. They responded that they had me scheduled for 2:00 PM. I then checked my confirmation text, which clearly said 2:10 PM. My daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted last Friday at Family Dental Center of Blair. She had such an incredible experience, everyone kept her comfortable as she had anxiety leading up to the procedure. Her nurse was so sweet, the doctor that performed the procedure was thorough, gentle, with perfect bedside manner. Before her procedure, I was nervous because I am only familiar with wisdom teeth being removed while under sedation, and I’m so Happy we ended up going here. Dr. Lewis and the staff were exceptional. I was asked multiple times if I had questions and given opportunities to rest my jaw. They made sure I was not in pain, and truly eased my anxiety. I was very skeptical to go to the dentist as I had not been in more time than I 'd like to admit. Upon arrival, I was anxious. I was greeted with a friendly smile and kind voice.
