They almost killed me. They had me marked as a vaginal birth in the charts when I had a high risk cesarean section. The nurses failed to check me for clots my entire first night after giving birth. I requested pain medication (I was to have it every few hours after having a major abdominal surgery and was given a plan directly after giving birth to have medication managment) and they didn't even put in my order. Amazing team. Wonderful staff. I feel cared for and they made sure to ease my anxiety entire time i was here.
I had 2 babies in this hospital and 1 at Kadlec. Everything went well both times, even knowing my youngest would die shortly after birth due to anencephaly I had a great experience. I was treated very well and I highly recommend them if you have to go through something like I did. Here are 2 photos of my youngest Raelyn.
The Staff is great. Very Nice nurses and very helpful.
They made me wait an hour to monitor me before getting me an epidural. It was getting SUPER bad so I knew I was having the baby soon. They took so long that I had my baby naturally but still put the epidural in me (I was basically sitting on my baby's head by the time it was in). My baby was born 30 seconds after... So I was numb for hours for no reason. My back is hurting because of that epidural which I had for no reason now.
