My daughter gave birth here today and the care she received in her room was excellent. The nurse caring for her were attentive and supportive. However, the behavior outside the room was extremely unprofessional. Several nurses were sitting with their feet up, speaking loudly, mocking patients, eating at the desk, and using foul language throughout the day. Gave birth here in December and all i can say is my birth experience was 10/10 from the moment i walked in. I walked in, in tears cause of my contractions and was admitted within 20 minutes. The care i received there was outstanding, my first nurse Jessie was amazing she literally held my hand through most my contractions till i got my epidural and held my hand while i got it when i my goal was not to get it but i ended up getting it cause i was in so much pain she was able to reassure me. First Time mom and I would never ever deliver at Healthpark again. I would like to start with there needs to be a better system for pregnant women who come in and have to be induced I had to sit a wait 3hrs just for a family birth suite mind you I’m pregnant been up since 6:40am and was extremely uncomfortable just sitting in a chair lobby that long . From the moment I arrived at Health Park, I felt supported, cared for, and genuinely respected by every single person I encountered. We have delivered all 4 of our kids here and each time the staff, nurses and midwives have always been incredible. Our last 2 were most notable, as the team did a great job keeping with mom's wishes and overcame a few birthing challenges. The midwives are very skilled and helped to keep my wife as comfortable as possible... given the tiny human she was trying to push out.
