Nothing "family" about this place. Grandma in a wheelchair in the reception area waiting with 4 year old grandson while his Mom is getting water from the vending machine and the clearly disgruntled woman at the desk says "he's not supposed to be here." I am beyond appalled, although not really that surprised considering this hospitals track record. Do yourself and your family a favor and steer clear of this unfriendly, incompetent fraud center.

My wife delivered here about 2 weeks ago. Let’s start by saying the nursing staff deserve beyond a 5 star rating. Every nurse we interacted with was beyond professional and knowledgeable. All hospital staff that was involved was phenomenal. Even the front desk receptionists. My wife did end up having a C section and the delivering OB was from her clinic she goes too and she also deserves more than 5 stars. Everything about our birthing experience completely exceeded any expectations. From the check in team and our nurses, we are so thankful for everyone who helped us deliver a healthy baby. The entire team worked so well together and made us feel safe and cared for throughout. Cannot thank this team enough and they truly deserve so much praise.

I really had such a great experience. I was honored with recently sharing a birthday with my baby. The medical staff and nurses were so very kind throughout my stay of five days. I’m very thankful I was put into such giving hands. I felt very obligated to treat my nurses with treats as they were the one taking care of me. The nurses sang happy birthday and made me feel so special with a little thank you card! You and baby really are safe with this group of medical staff.

Family Birth Center Team, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the treatment my daughter and our family received during her recent stay at St. Michael Medical Center - Silverdale.
