My visit started with my OB saying I was able to be induced to have my first baby. I was very nervous as any new experience like this would have on someone. I had multiple nurses along my 4 day stay and I want to say that I was over the moon with how professional and compassionate every single person I encountered was. I had a scheduled c section October 1 2025 with Dr. Quimby and my experience was wonderful! Not only do I adore Quimby but everyone she worked with that day were awesome. The front desk gal did forget to tell the nurses we were there, she was pregnant and it was like 0500, but luckily the nurses are so great at checking rooms they found us and took care of us right away. The woman in the reception was very arrogant
Im a patient at this facility baby and I are doing mostly okay. When trying to voice my concerns I was shut down -I really do feel the staff is not to blame they are mostly kind women with no training or routine and it was scary relying on them. My milk is not coming in and it took almost two days for the right nurse to find out the problem and get me on formula. August of 2023 Its been a long time coming ive just been to disappointed to actually share, due to my bad experience with silverdale birthing center I wont go back. I loved my ob and even all the others at kitsap obgyn. I had two of the world best nurses there but I also had the most traumatic and horrifying experiences. I was treated poorly for having preclampsia and only being 2cm by the doctor on staff and the head nurse.
