The worst midwife ever If they ever bring you midwife Rhoda to deliver your baby reject her whether your black or not, I asked when she was removing my placenta if she had removed it she said yes later for another midwife to come in and I showed her very huge clots that were coming out some failed to come out and another midwife had to insert their hand to make what thy called a removed clot that was stuck the pain of stitches discharged me and later in the night I called emergency since there were still other clots stuck wh... read more

I gave birth at the Virgina Mason birthing center in September 2024, a lot of the staff has moved to this location because of the closure. It took me sometime to reflect on my birth and I think my experience could have been a lot better. There were times I was left alone when my midwife Emily was helping someone in active labor. I birthed both of my children at St Anne and had an incredible experience both times: 10/10 would recommend to anyone thinking of giving birth here! I’ve met all 9 midwives in the group as of 6/2025 and would trust any one of them with my care. Molly T (the absolute best!), Molly C, and Roda were present for my births and were all outstanding as well as all of the nurses we encountered throughout both experiences. I had an amazing delivery! The nurses were so nice and attentive. My delivery was calm and quiet. I’d come here again if I plan to have another child. My only dilemma was I felt like I experienced discreet racism. There was a lady assisting me with discharging and she noticed I didn’t list a father and she proceeds to ask me if I was sure about leaving it blank.
