I’ve been seeing Dr Mvundura for a decade now, and recently just had my first child. I’ve always been so satisfied with the care I’ve received not only from him, but from everyone at the Centralia Women’s Center (special shout-out to Nurse Amanda, I wish I could have taken her to L&D with me). I was planning on giving birth here but I ended up needing an emergency c-section at 4am on a Saturday. Dr. Scalici was my obgyn, and happened to be the doctor on call that night. Within 5 minutes of calling the womens center after hours number, Dr. Scalici called me and told me to go to the ER to get checked out. Everything happened really fast. I had my second child here recently & we had such an amazing experience! The nurses are the sweetest & funniest people (and we all know a mean nurse can completely ruin a birth experience). I delivered during the only three hour window that my OB was unavailable, and the OB on call (Dr. Mvendura) was just as fantastic as Dr. Scalici. The staff was very accommodating, they offer a ‘celebration meal’ for you & your spouse after baby is born (good food, too!) and all of the medical procedures were done quickly & efficiently (I ... read more
