We visited Troy for the Tour de Donut ride and afterwards we stopped in Family Bike Shop to check it out. Very helpful owner took the time to help my wife adjust her bike. He installed a new stem and the clip in pedals that she wanted. They had a great sale on Giro helmets and we each purchased one. Very happy with our visit and we would recommend checking it out also.
I needed a few upgrades to my Cervelo P3 (tri bike) and stocked up on "stuff" as I train for Ironman Kona. Mike was so helpful, kind, and patient. He researched exactly what I needed at the lowest possible prices, and did the work fast!! Overall it was a pricey day but my first ride out was a DREAM!!
Mike is super friendly! It only took 2 days for the bike to be shipped in and the cost was lower than it was online. He even dropped the bike off at my house after hours which was incredibly generous. And the fact that 2 years of free service is on top is even better!
Great bike shop. I have been upgrading my fat bike. Every part I have bought they have put on the bike for me. Just had new hand brake levers and calipers put on 133.00 bucks. I was very happy with the work the bike stops on a dime. I will be going back until I fully upgrade the bike. I would recommend this bike shop you will not be disappointed. Thanks Troy Family Bike Shop job well done.
Went to get information and the man didn't seem friendly. I felt like I was interrupting his day. My husband had same issue about 6 yrs ago. Just my encounter was not positive. �
I'm from Oregon (but grew up in Troy) & rented a bike from Mike in early Sept. He was incredibly helpful & the price was VERY reasonable. I highly recommend renting from this shop if you need to rent a bike in Troy. I did a small sectiojn of the Miami Valley Bike Trail & really enjoyed it, as I saw the Miami R in a whole new way in the Farrington Preserve, a lovely riparian zone. However, beware....almost NO signage to keep you on the trail! Marcia
