Definitely wouldn't suggest this place, wayyy too packed everyone who didnt have a chair had to be standing and or sitting on the floor even in the hallway. My mom is a very chronically sick person so she had to be standing and had to leave during giving history to the doctor, and everyone including stuff just keep staring at my mom making her feel very uncomfortable. Wouldn't suggest this place to VA veterans at all.

My experience with Family Allergy & Asthma Weslaco office runs contrary to many of these reviews. Yes, without a doubt, the waiting room was literally standing room only. The room was pretty small and really cramped. Myself, and maybe two other people were the only ones wearing masks. (I wear one due to my age and medical issues). The office staff was polite, relatively friendly and helpful in filling out 1st time patient forms. Then again, I'm a proactive patient, and handed her a complete, current listing of all my meds. I was skeptical to take my child here because of all the negative reviews I read prior to going. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was because the waiting area is PACKED and not everyone had a seat. However, I had no trouble with any of the medical assistants. The ones who attended us were very helpful. My son was taken into triage by one of the medical assistants named Monica. She was very kind, very knowledgeable and very attentive. Extremely frustrating experience. They refused to let my child finish allergy shot vials that were not expired and already paid for, and instead pushed for new ones. After years of consistent treatment, this felt more like a money-driven decision than patient care. Poor communication, dismissive attitude, and no concern for what actually makes sense for the patient. Would not recommend.
