Found this business because they were on my insurance website. I checked the reviews and read the website and fell in love. I was looking for a therapist who understood the CPS system and the toll it takes on the children who come into care. The intake process was smooth, and the therapist was very nice and knowledgeable. My daughter was in therapy for a couple of years and the progress I saw in her as months went by was amazing. Ms. Lamesha was always very attentive and went above and beyond for my daughter and family. My family and I always felt seen and like the center actually cared, which is a rare thing to find. This will be a little lengthy, but very important. I was referred to family first counseling and specifically referred to Mrs..L It’s been about three maybe four years now and Miss L and family first counseling has been a God send to our entire family. My daughter had PTSD from a custody battle and was really struggling with her emotions and how to understand them. I’ve really enjoyed my experience at this therapy practice. My toddler and I attended several sessions, and each one was helpful, warm, and supportive. The therapist made us both feel comfortable and understood, and I learned so many practical tools that I’ve been able to use at home. I truly appreciate the patience, guidance, and care we received. Highly recommend to any parent looking for support for themselves or their little one.
