The 9 year wait is OVER. I received my U Visa today. Gloria Cardenas and her team have worked really hard for me since 2016. We had to get a certificate from the police, then file the U Visa then respond to a request for more information… And then finally today, it was approved. Under these scary times, I feel so happy and relieved that I am finally documented. Thank you Familia America.
Do NOT trust this firm. This lawyer and the team we’ve been working with have lied to us!! She almost guaranteed a family member of mine a Work Authorization, we paid a couple thousands and was denied a Work Authorization as soon as we put the application in. When this happened she said there was nothing else she can do and wanted us to find another lawyer. EDIT: 8/5/25. I just got off the phone with Gloria & her team. Both have apologized for the inconvenience & Gloria herself listened to the phone recording and apologized to us.. It appears Gloria’s assistant at the time didn’t completely notate what Gloria requested and told us at the time.. We will be meeting again with Gloria this weekend & hoping it will go well for my family member. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. This lawyer is nothing but a liar!!
