What can I say? No one likes going to the dentist. However, that experience changes when you got to Renaissance Dental Center. Drs. Abernethy, Sonner and Wells have empowered their staff to make everyone feel great from the moment you walk in the door, to sitting in the lobby with massage chairs. I walked into Rennaisance and this lovely lady, Victoria, helped me check in and she was so patient to answer questions. Then sweet Karla showed me around the beautiful and clean facility. Their attention to detail was off the chart. Dr. Sonner then came in and was so friendly and professional. They even provided awesome “distractions” like t.v., music/headphones, hit towels, massage chairs etc. Wonderful experience! I highly recommend this practice.
All the staff have been very helpful to me. Every question I have they answer it. They don't rush me to make any decisions. I've been with my doctor since she graduated college. Now I not only get smiles I get hugs when I go! Any problems I have with my teeth they solve them.
The staff always cares about what's going on in your life and they remember you even though it's been 6+ months. A lot changed in my life and when I shared that with the staff they were so happy for me. I told them I was converting a bus and starting a non-profit and they wanted to know all about it. They even said to keep in touch and that they would consider donating and helping out in any way they could. I so appreciated that visit and felt supported beyond just being a patient there.

Dr. Jill Sonner is the best. She has taken the most interest in my conditions of any dentist I have ever had. She is very thorough, and if you do have a cavity or filling that needs to be replaced, her techniques are painless. Her Dental Hygienist is top notch, and very knowledgeable and accommodating.
Confession: I'm a wimp. I don't do pain. Dr. Sonner goes out of her way to guarantee I won't have any pain. If you can find a better dentist in Raleigh, I'll pay for your next visit.
