Under new ownership, and changed for the worse Everyone seems to be putting their reviews of Falls Church Animal Hospital under Dr. Chamarande's name; there are no other reviews under the names of the other vets or the business as a whole.

Under new ownership, and changed for the worse Everyone seems to be putting their reviews of Falls Church Animal Hospital under Dr. Chamarande's name; there are no other reviews under the names of the other vets or the business as a whole. So, at the outside I will say that this review is NOT about Dr. Chamarande per se. Dr. Chamarande is WONDERFUL. She took fabulous care of my mixed Lab/hound, Sweetie. I have taken all my dogs to Falls Church Animal Hospital for nearly 35 years. Dr. Rogers, Dr. Jacobs, Dr. Chamarande, Dr. K... read more

Great vets First of all, if you live in the McLean, Falls Church area you can expect to pay high prices for your vet care. Try Old Dominion and you'll really be shocked. I have been using Falls Church Animal Hospital for years now. I left Old Dominion because of their outrageous prices. At least at Falls Church the vets care about your pet and are willing to give advice and will call you back. To pay less you must travel out of the area. Many of my friends are loyal Falls Church clients as am I. Some times the front desk can... read more

Great Vet I have been taking my two dogs to Falls Church Animal Hospital for two years now after leaving another vet who I felt did not have the time, experience or desire to address one of my dog's persistent health issues. Since transitioning to this location, I have seen several of their vets and have been impressed by each! Dr. Kelly was the first vet we saw, and she listened intently to the lengthy record of health issues one of our dogs had, and unlike our previous vet, took the time to discuss possible causes of the p... read more

Falls Church Animal Hospital is AWFUL!!! NEVER AGAIN! I brought my perfectly healthy puppy to Falls Church Animal Hospital for a simple neutering and ended up paying more than $1400 to repair the damages. Here's what happened - Falls Church Animal Hospital neutered my dog (price was $400). He spent the night there and was sent home with me the next day. A few hours later he started vomiting and having watery stools. It was after regular business hours so I brought my dog to an emergency animal hospital. The hospital told me ... read more

OK for the essentials- nothing else. Rude Receptionists First of all- I would never board my cat here again. Not because they mistreated her (but how would i know since she can't speak?) but because it was too expensive for a boarding service that does not even interact with your pet. I paid twice as much here to have my kitty caged for 24 hours a day. No thanks. Pet-Smart supposedly plays with the cats and pets them everyday AND it costs $12/day. Second of all- the reception staff needs to improve their customer service ski... read more

attentive to dog We have used them for 5 years since we adopted our rescue dog. Have found the vets to be caring and attentive, mots of the front office staff have been polite and professional. We also use them for boarding, which has worked out well. They are expensive.

Love this Vet My lab is very skiddish around vets and new places. While he is still uneasy when we go there, our vet takes his time with him to calm him down and make him feel as comfortable as possible. The vet here was the first vet to diagnose our dog (he's 9 now) with allergies to his food and water bowls! He's had skin allergies for years and no other vet brought it to our attention that this could be the issue. The last vet insisted on hundreds of dollars worth of exams/procedures and meds when it was simply replacing ... read more
