$26 porterhouse steak and more than half couldn't be eaten due to fat content. Have been here a couple times before and loved it but the steak sucked. Waitress took my plate to her manager apparently he thought the half I could eat was worth the full price
We were one of two couples in the restaurant, and service was so slow....server recommended the catfish and it was terrible. She did offer to bring us two new pieces but it was still awful. The rolls that were thrown were OK when hot, after that they became hard and inedible. The salad bar could have easily been so much better, but for an additional $2.99 I could have done without. This place is an expensive tourist trap, diners beware! We will not be going back.
The atmosphere is unique but the food, not a fan. We won't be going back.
We always eat at Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House whenever we're in Branson. This visit, I was disappointed to find that my mainstay pork chops are no longer on the menu; so I opted for the fried catfish. It was delicious! And the side of green beans was the best I've tasted since I was a child! The "tossed rolld" are SO good and a bucket of butter and honey are on each table. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
It was fun to watch the rolls get thrown around and the food was good. Our waiter, Tim?, was excellent.
We were there thanksgiving day, we usually go there every thanksgiving day after shopping, they always have there menu you can order from if you don't want their special which is turkey and all the trimmings. We did not know that this year they were not doing that, they had a select menu, cheapest thing was a burger, at the price of 11.99, everything else was 13.00 and higher. Food was average and service was terrible. Manager was not concerned with our problems probably because he was bar tending. Our waitress was ok just seemed new on the job. Took 55 minutes to get our food and some of it was cool when it arrived at the table. We were stuck upstairs and hardly got any rolls for our table. Would not recommend eating here at all.
So anybody that knows me knows that i do NOT like fish! Usually i can't get past the smell of it to eat it. Well, My man helped change my mind about fish. We have been eating fish at Fall Creek Steak and Catfish house in Branson, Mo. Awesome stuff...would eat it all the time if i could. Steaks are the best in the area. Always a good flavor. We loved our food. both steaks were perfectly done and the catfish was amazing. Waitress seemed very busy but she still took good care of us. Salad bar was great. The only thing no rolls came our way
