Good place to live - with a warning (see below**). My son lived at FP for his junior year and it was perfectly fine. The buildings and amenities are nice and modern. Staff were responsive to maintenance issues and other concerns. The shuttle was reliable for getting to campus. It's an especially good option if you don't have your own roommates since they will place you with three. The apartment complex decided on the Fourth of July the pool would be closed. Not sure what communist complex would do that on America’s 250th birthday and during a heat wave where the real feel on the weather channel is 105 degrees. As an American and a Soldier this is extremely upsetting. Genuinely the worst place I have ever stayed in my entire life, which as someone who grew up in a abusive household says something. Management is never available, and when they are they are rude, unwilling to cooperate, and will not help in any way. You can have an actual police incident report against a roommate and they wont terminate your lease. For what is charged in rent a tenant shouldn’t have to be without a working dryer. Unacceptable. Not the residents fault you don’t have enough maintenance staff.
Justin on the maintenance team is awesome and made sure to fix my air conditioning when there were issues.
