Falcon Landing Apartments are a decent housing option for graduate students and faculty/staff at BGSU. You can’t beat the all-inclusive rent, full set of furniture, 24/7 maintenance, and convenient location near campus. I thought living in graduate housing versus an apartment would be better, but I was wrong. I was highly dissatisfied while living at Falcon Landing. They did a terrible job matching individuals together, which was my number one issue. One of my roommates was so awful I had to stay at a hotel for almost two weeks halfway through the semester. I loved staying in falcon landing. I actually lived there for all 2 years of my MA program. It's nice that utilities are included in rent and the apartments are spacious. It's also close to campus and the leasing process was easy to navigate, especially for someone who couldn't afford traveling to BGSU again to tour apartments. Management is pretty friendly and responsive. The only problem I had was an extremely incompatible roommate even though I filled out a roommate matching form. The only positives about this complex are that it is close to the campus and that all of your utilities are included in the rent. That's about it though. Before moving in, all residents fill out a housing form so that "they can match you with someone compatible". I doubt that they ever even looked at those forms. My roommate and I were not compatible in anyway. She refused to clean anything in the apartment, saying that it was my job to clean everything. Giving this apartment complex one star is generous. First off the promise that you will be living with a grad student or university employees is a lie. My roommate graduated last semester and has no affiliation with the university and as stated in the contract that tenants sign one has to be affiliated with the university to live in the complex.
