I have a friend that used to work at the Decatur location and the place sounds horrific and sad. Management is a joke & medications that don't match on documents and computers are still given to clients. This place needs to be gutted out for better management and employees.
This place is a joke. My mom worked at the Allegan location and said the employees give patients the wrong meds that put them in the hospital, the employees get high on the property while they're supposed to be taking care of the clients and don't get in trouble, yet my mom voices how badly the clients are being treated and gets fired and they denied her unemployment.
I love that they treat the people they serve to be individuals. They are there to encourage and educate, but don't control them as they have rights just as every other adult. They may have consequences for their actions (as we all do). They learn by making mistakes just as we all do. I love that Falco treats them as ADULTS and equal to us. Thank you for being a caring facility.
