Good Stuff I love the location of this place and it's super easy to get in and out. The Falafel's are very good for the price. I would recommend this place for a quick meal which is better then the place across the way.
Great falafels This is a small place, but great falafels. I am vegetarian so I can't say much about the meat...but the falafels and the baklava is great! The service was good too.
Good and Simple – Excellent food at a great price. A good alternative to the overcrowded Walnut Ave. Cafe across the street. I recommend the lamb sandwich-good meat, well spiced and not fatty. The burgers are amazing and pretty big (try a Mike's Burger with cheese). The falafel special is popular, but my vegetarian friend ordered the fava bean salad which was to die for. Unfortunately Uninspiring – Cozy place with a nice window seat in front but I was unimpressed by both the size of the meal vs the cost (small portions for what you pay) and the quality of the items. I'm around Arabic food quite a lot and this wasn't awful, just not that good. They seem very popular though because there were plenty of people in there when I was there. Perhaps because they are conveniently located downtown? Perhaps because of the high veggie population in Santa Cruz? Parking is free on Sundays.
