See Dr. Butt if you care to be dismissed easily with “stress,” if you want to be ignorantly told to “speak in your language” when it has already been established that you were born and raised speaking English, simply because you couldn’t remember a word. That’s especially concerning considering she is supposed to specialize in neurological issues such as memory loss. I had ongoing issues with delayed communication from Dr. Butt’s office, often requiring multiple follow-ups to get responses—especially concerning when coordinating care for my elderly mother. After waiting nine months for an appointment, we then waited another five months for paperwork to be completed. When I finally received the one-page form, it contained inaccurate and incomplete information, further delaying her care. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any physicians office. I was treated like I did not matter and I was made to feel like I was lying about my symptoms. I was talked down to. I did not get to discuss other things that I had questions about. I do not recommend this physician to anyone.

I was diagnosed with full Parkinson's and she was my doctor during this event. She recommended DBS surgery as a solution to my symptoms (walking issues, excessive tremors). The surgery nearly 3 years ago was a miracle, with 95% of symptoms now gone. Her knowledge of the disease and possible solutions; she is best neurologist in the state! The surgery can be expensive; I recommend having 100% health insurance with gap type coverage.
