Took daughter to ER after being bitten by a feral kitten, provided my insurance information at check in, was given a bill at ER which I paid on the spot only to receive an additional bill from this Dr. All this Dr did was tell my daughter kittens don’t likely carry rabies and prescribed antibiotics. She was in there for less than 4 mins and is going to charge 1100.00. This is a racket. Pure and simple a bait and switch. Dr. Stauter showed compassion, care, expert medical knowledge, and used her discretionary effort to get my wife a quick (3)-day appointment with a neurologist. Unheard of this day and age. Would like to have her as a primary care physician anyday. A credit to her profession.
