Do Not Recommend. Kirkland prices for rats, gang tags, never enough parking after 6pm, no onsite office staff, unruly neighbors (kids & adults), and the constant stench of dog poop (despite asking the property manager for help multiple times). The only good thing here is the maintenance team. Great guys. Current Resident for almost 2 years.
A month into our new lease. First, in response to my review below, the team reached out to me immediately and got us all taken care of. They've been responsive since (Thank you, Quinton.) Denys and Mic, the maintenance guys, have been super speedy with same or next-day repairs and always friendly. We are happy to see them on the property and they always say hi back. Never actually got to move here since the unit we wanted was taken before we could put a deposit down, but the leasing agent Henry was very helpful and patient with all our questions and inquiries. He was willing to work with us and did all he could to accommodate our situation.
There is no longer a leasing office on site and communication is all electronic. Messages are never replied to in a timely manner or they seem to ignore them and never get back to you. I have lived and other Essex properties in the past and never have had such issues. You’d think for how much they charge they’d want to maintain contact with tenants.
