Let me tell you a little about Fairway Furnace. I was lucky enough to meet them Fairway Furnace through my son who had furnace work done by them last year. I had a problem with my air conditioner last week seems to have gone south after 11 years. I told my son about the cost of replacing the air conditioner and furnace through another company and it was extremely high. Stay far away from this company. There are plenty of other companies out there willing to do the job for a reasonable price. Always call and get a second opinion.
Our two year old boiler stopped working two weeks after the warranty was up. It costed us $800 to fix. The guy Fairway sent to our house, Danny Cleary, said that he believed the problem was due to the thermostat being old and suggested a new oil filter so it runs smoother. He said if we bought the parts, he would come back and help us install the new thermostats/filter because "he's a nice guy."
