⭐☆☆☆☆ Fairway Independent Mortgage cost us money and then sold the loan before we could do anything about it. We specifically asked to be set up so that when we made a half-payment early in the month, it would be applied immediately to the principal and reduce the amount of interest we paid over the life of the loan. They refused. Instead, they set the loan up so any early payment would just sit in a suspense account until the full payment was due. I had a really good experience with Jim Wavro at the Kenosha office. Straight forward, no selling, just spent time going over my options, rates, etc. He made the mortgage part of home buying a smooth experience. I would 100% use him again.
