I just found out about Range Voting and wonder how it compares with IRV. I agree almost anything is better than the FPTP system we have now and the fact there is NO WAY to vote against a polarizing candidate in a crowded field. I applaud FairVote for pushing for election reform, especially IRV, but think there might be a problem with major population centers being in a position to dictate who the president will be. Also, there is a more likely chance of fraud.
I mean America is really overlong due of election reforms by from need Anti-Blood money bills to make this nation to become as multi-party nation.
This is the path we must follow...this is all we have to do...HELP DO IT
This is such a fabulous idea, and would alleviate so many problems, such as low voter turnout and post-election angst. I also believe it can break the power/money hold of the two-party system and open elections up to mere qualified mortals without funding from SuperPACs, corporations, and lobbyists.
We need to Abolish the Electoral College 100%! It is insane that 304 EC people get to choose our President when Hillary received nearly 3,000,000 votes more than Trump. This is not a Democracy anymore!
