The building is dirty, the elevator is gross ALL the time. The rent is affordable, but this greedy company and it's affiliates have no ethics, morals or integrity. Kohner is cheap and greedy. I moved into a dirty building, and a Kohner employee thinks just because she can scream and act ignorant you should be scared. Screaming instead of talking is immature, rude and crazy! Lived here from 2022-2024, not totally sure I’d recommend it. It’s an old, cheap building, so there were a decent amount of maintenance issues; but that’s not unexpected to me and they always fixed it pretty quickly. However, in 2024, our heater broke right before the coldest weekend of that entire year, and for some reason they refused to fix it until after the weekend!!! When they finally replaced it, they literally took a heater from the empty unit down the hall and just put it in. I still have zero idea why they couldn’t... read more
