Great community and so convenient to just about everything. Brick construction, slate roofs, wooded neighborhood. Perfect starter homes.
I moved from Fairlington Villages late last year because of deteriorating quality-of-life. I rented a 2-bedroom condo unit in FV for several years and buildings and grounds maintenance was poor-to-mediocre and there was continually more noise from non-residents using common areas for recreation and there was lax enforcement of condo association bylaws related to bed and breakfasts and parking.
I lived here for 8 years. Cool environment, lots of space and close to DC. I will take this over a high rise any day.
Very kind and helpful staff, quaint office building, and quite centrally located in the community.
