Fairfield Podiatry has been nothing short of life changing for our family including my 88yo and 85yo parents. George is an absolute gentleman - warm, good natured with an awesome sense of light hearted humour and incredibly skilled. This clinic is absolutely sensational. George is extremely thorough and very knowledgeable. There is a plan in place to assist with both strength and pain relief. Go and see this guy. He's a wizard.
Receptionist made an 85 year old man who uses a walking stick and can hardly walk to return his medical centre to collect a referral that he was told was already sent to Fairfeild podiatry. Instead of offering him a seat and simply calling the medical clinic herself or emailing to inquire about the matter she didn’t bother helping AT ALL according to her logic It’s just easier to send the elderly out the door who's confused and rattled. I was treated as lower priority patient due to wishing to use an EPC (CDM) plan. I tried to book online but a message popped up saying "Please call to make an appointment if your doctor has given you a Medicare CDM Plan." So I duly called the practice to book an appointment, and the receptionist told me that there was a long wait for people using a CDM plan (several weeks) and much immediate appointments were available for full fee-paying patients.
