I've stayed in a lot of Fairfields, and this is probably one of my bottom two. It's not particularly bad, but it's also crazy that I paid about $100/night more for this one vs most Fairfields and it provides less. Breakfast was lacking compared to it's counterparts across the country. As usual, the pool smelled like someone dumped a bucket of chlorine on my face. I recently stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Wentzville and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. First, the room itself had several issues. The TV was broken and wouldn’t turn off, and instead of resolving it efficiently, we were told to switch rooms. That’s not a simple request when you’re traveling with a toddler and already settled in. The towels were also in poor condition, which added to the overall lack of comfort. From the beginning I should have know was goimg to be bad, the attendant was not smiling very unfriendly, I checked in got to room all the trash cams were in middle of room no.bags in them, ok thats fine. I go to pool.i hear the manager talking about how they got paid for 2 rooms even tho they were over booked and 2 parties didnt have a room her comment was " more money for us lol" .
