The hotel part was like any other hotel, but I was in the process of moving to college (from across the country) when I stayed here and and everybody helped so much. I wanted to reorganize and while I was carrying everything in, a very nice man at the front desk helped me get everything to the elevator. The next morning, I was struggling to get my bicycle in my car, and a very kind man named Daniel came all the way outside and not only helped put my bike in, but all of my suitcases and bags, too. Great location with ebikes around the corner. I was pushing my luck and checked in early, and the front desk person was kind and accommodating. The lobby is spotless and so is our room. There is a balcony which is nice but a couple of chairs outside would make it functional. We were looking forward to the hot tub after a day of biking around Santa Cruz but the jets don't seem to be working. I love that Marriott has started carrying Greek yogurt that is plain in the breakfast area, and there were even fresh cut strawberries!

The location is convenient and rooms are clean but sadly there has been screaming outside of our hotel room at night despite calling the front desk and letting them know we have a baby. They basically said it’s a wedding and they can’t do anything so keep that in mind if you have a family
