Terrible, inflexible service at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fresno Clovis Arrived after regular office hours for a government rate stay that I’ve used successfully at Marriott properties many times before. I showed my government-issued ID and regular ID as usual. The manager on duty refused to check us in without a formal work order. Because it was after hours, there was no one from our office available to immediately send over proof that we were there for work. I worked with the hotel on a room block for a high school trip in March. The staff was wonderful, allowing us to cater in and use the breakfast room for dinners and ensuring we had everything we needed, including parking for our 16’ box truck. The kids loved their pool and hot tub and the parents enjoyed the rose bordered courtyard.
