It's an older hotel but it was clean and well maintained. My room was located near interstate kind of noisy.
The site says the hotel was renovated. Ours didn't look updated at all. There is a self parking garage for $30/night associated with the hotel which was nice. We did come just to visit the Nascar Museum which was about a 15minute walk which was perfect for us. Other than that not much around. There weren't even too many restaurants around. The pool was nice.
This hotel was in a good location and close to many restaurants. I loved having a fridge and microwave in the room for my leftovers. The bathroom is a little small but was very clean. The only issue I had was the parking slip needed to enter and exit the parking lot. On our way back in, it would never work so we had to get a new slip and none of them ever worked. We had to keep getting them activated so that we could get back out. Luckily the desk is right there as you walk on and in wasn't a problem to do.
