Stayed for business, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is actually worth attending. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that the TV menu is slow, but if that's my biggest problem, this place is doing great!
I always choose Marriott Bonvoy for their great service, but this Carlsbad location was a huge disappointment. Our room was dirty, the bathroom wasn’t clean, and housekeeping never came during our 4th of July weekend stay. Their excuse? They gave the staff the holiday off. I also asked for flexibility with a late checkout due to a flat tire, but the front desk refused. Very poor service Marriot
The hotel turned off the room air conditioning in the middle of the night which made the room hot and ruined our sleep. Shower drain was clogged, too. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.
The front desk Martha was so sweet and helpful she made our whole stay.
Nice size room and clean. Good free breakfast. The pool in the back is small and exposed to the sun, and we didn't get a chance to use it. Employees were friendly, and checking and checking out was quick and easy. Overall, it was a nice hotel.
