When we arrived the room we booked was unavailable - very disappointing. We were offered an alternative room. We then changed to the correct room the following night. The hotel offered a good discount so a reasonable compromise.
The good news is that it’s almost new so everything is still fresh. It’s probably the best Fairfield we’ve stayed at furnishing wise. It has a lake and walking path right next to it as well. The personnel were just okay. Maybe it’s a franchise because we didn’t receive a welcome gift.
I’ve stayed at this hotel on and off over the past month, and the check-in experience with Aleway has always been unpleasant. He never greeted me or smiled, and sometimes I had to wait for a while for him to come out of the back room. Other stuff was doing well. The room itself was okay, just a typical Fairfield style room. The rate was quite high due to wildfire season, as there were many fire man staying in the town.
Clean and quiet. Breakfast is good.
