Very nice place. I was extremely happy with the breakfast. The choice between pork and turkey sausage was awesome. I wish more hotels offered that choice. The 24 hr coffee in the lobby was appreciated.
We stayed at the Fairfield in Carlsbad for 4 nights with our family of 6, booking 2 rooms. Unfortunately, our rooms (339 and 341) had a persistent smell issue from day 1, likely due to a plumbing or sewage problem. The front desk manager was helpful and offered to move us to new rooms, but since having adjacent rooms was crucial for our family, we decided to stick with the original rooms.
