My husband Robert Evans and I were very disappointed in our stay due to the morning of January 1, 2025 we were awaken 09:00 by leaf blowers in the parking lot and lawn mowers cutting grass. Why would and schedule leaf blowing and grass cutting at 9 am on January 1st. We did get back to our room until around 2 am after being out celebrating the new year!
I stayed at this hotel in early November 2025. When I travel I prefer staying at Marriott properties. I need to add that my wife and I are at the Platinum Elite status with Marriott. And when checking in at Marriott properties we get recognized. But at this property. Nothing. Yes. The hotel was under renovation at the time of my stay. But that doesn’t let them off the hook for cleanliness and basic maintenance. The tile floor at the entrance of the room which carries into the bathroom was filthy! Great location just off the highway and close to restaurants. They are remodeling but our room was very nice as were the common areas. Tameka at the front desk was kind, polite, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the room was perfect the TV was huge. The lobby was clean and nicely furnished. I would stay here again. Big parking lot with lots of spaces and it was well lit.
I recently stayed at this Fairfield and, while the property is undergoing renovations (which were definitely needed), my room was on one of the nearly finished floors. The room itself was clean and updated with several nice touches such as the modern décor, USB-C outlets, and a refreshed bathroom. The bed sat lower to the floor than I’m used to, but it was extremely comfortable. My only real complaint is the shower, which had pretty weak water pressure despite the upgraded look.
