I went to see A/Prof Aaron Robinson for help with my lifelong dermatitis which has continued to evolve and worsen over the years, severely impacting my life and physical/mental health with constant flare ups leaving me incapacitated for days. I am so grateful to the staff at Fairfield dermatology clinic. I was struggling with extremely severe eczema, and all my local dermatologists had at least a 3-4 month wait for an initial consult. I called here to book even though it's a little further away and the lovely ladies at reception managed to squeeze me in within a week before the Christmas break. Not pleasant to liaise with.
Very aggressive receptionist. I have autism and phone calls are overwhelming, when calling with more than 24 hours notice to cancel, I was told “the doctor needs more than 24 hours notice” and then was left this petty voicemail.
Very disappointed in the clinical evaluation - a cursory examination was done of my daughter’s skin and an instant prescription for isotretinoin. I asked many questions about potential side effects and all were brushed off. No printed material was given to us to answer additional queries.
