Geoff says, went Tuesday Oct 13, saw the Clydesdales parade around the racetrack. Very nice, what was not nice at all was the playing of the Budwieser song at what seemed to be the highest sound level possible. I won't say it ruined it but damned near. Everyone put their hands over their ears. OK. it was terrible. I wish I was on the other side of the track. Will go again later in the week and see if this review changes anything.

It is best fair in Ohio! Only missed one fair since 1998 due to getting married and being on honeymoon! That's how we spend our anniversary every year. Looking forward to the best fair food around anywhere! Coming in from Butler County Ohio! Count down is on!!!
The Fairfield County Fair is the best in the state. Ok I wouldn't know that for sure because I haven't been to them all. It's the best fair in south eastern Ohio. It's the best because it's the last county fair of the season. The weather is usually cooler than at most county fairs. The fairgrounds, nestled at the base of Mount Pleasant, Is picturesque. My favorite is that one item of "fair food" offered is unique to the time of year in which the fair is held. It has a stand that offers oyster sandwiches. Love this time of ye... read more
