This is an *okay* hotel. My favorite hotel, the Hampton Inn, was fully booked, so we settled on Fairfield. We didn’t have a bad experience per se, but the Hampton next door is DEFINITELY nicer. The staff were such a mixed bag. The lady who checked us in was super friendly, but the guy who was bald and wearing a mask was extremely rude when we went to check out. rooms were nice! clean and they gave us down-alternative pillows as well. we found a speck of blood on one of the pillows though. staff were hit or miss. the dark skinned woman & attractive younger guy were super friendly. bald guy with mask was NOT. lol. location was convenient. all in all, a fine hotel but pricy.
Booked this hotel on our way back from Texas. Read reviews and noticed the impeccably clean and comfy bed comments. They were true. Great hotel and very very clean. The housekeeper left her details in the room. Love that personal touch. Also we were recognized as a member on the tv. Another nice little touch. Highly recommend.

The location, which essentially shares parking lots with 2 fast food restaurants, is a little weird but quite well located for South County access. The area's not too awfully busy or loud. The place is clean, staff is friendly and helpful, beds are comfy. No extra pillows provided though they were requested, but not a big deal. Basic 2-bed room is a bit small really, but it's fine if you're not spending much time there. View of the parking lot from the first floor rooms,however, is not pleasant.
