I asked for a quiet high floor repeatedly. No...we got floor 2. On the 2nd night kids or something were placed above us. The hotel wouldn't move us and kept saying these people on the 3rd floor would calm down. This was between 1050pm and approx midnight and it was so loud i could hear it w ear plugs and headphones and we had an early morning. I am sure my morning wake up will be bad with all the noise. It was all fine. No real complaints, but nothing to warrant a "better than average" rating. Compared to other Fairfield Inns, this one just felt "lacking" somehow. It was just too far to easily walk to downtown area, and parking downtown seems to be all pay lots. Next time I'll look for a hotel closer to downtown. Breakfast attendant was funny and friendly. 5 stars for that guy. There was a shockingly small TV in the room. It's been a long time since I've seen a TV that small in a hotel room. I am completely beside myself. When I last stayed at this location 5 years ago it was poorly run by staff that truly didn't know what they were doing . During my last stay, the desk clerk had to go to the back office five times, five separate times, during the check-in process. I have never experienced such a long check in in my life and I've probably stayed at 300 to 350 hotels in all my travels. They didn't alert anyone to the fact that the elevator was broken. Echoing a lot of what I read in the most recent review. Hot water was running out, mini fridge froze all my stuff, gym was extremely hot, pool looked yellow, and towels and sheets were dirty. I found an eyelash extension on my towel and they had several dirty spots in them. When I took it down to the front desk and asked for new towels the didn’t seem ver concerned at all. I understand this is a cheaper hotel but clean towels should always be a given in any hotel.
