Stayed at this hotel on 8/1-5. After leaving I realized I left a couple of items in the closet of our room. I called right away. I was told house keeping would contact me that afternoon. They did not. So I called again the following day. At that point the front desk person told me house keeping did not find anything in the closet. While I am no longer in MA and have no way of proving it, I am 100% certain I left the two items in closet there. They were, without question, stolen. So I am big fan of Fairfield by marriot since the chain beats all the 3 start hotels in terms of nice bedding and fixtures. This hotel has-amazing beds as expected. Problem is it’s next to train line and since th walls are this and the windows are not sound proof the odd room numbers directly face the train line. Because it is triangle shaped building some rooms are quite close to the train. I had to use 3 different white noise machine and still couldn’t hide the sound of trains.
