The place was very nice, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, we had a great stay. The only downside is that this may not be the best place for anyone who works third shift and needs to sleep during the day, as the room didn't have blinds or blackout curtains to block out the daylight. Other than that, everything was great.
I was in town for a wedding and needed somewhere to stay last minute. Check-in process was great and the room was nice and clean. However, an area I feel needs attention is the breakfast area. As I was fixing my kids breakfast, the breakfast attendant was walking around and talking very loudly on the phone using profanity. I asked her a question in regards to the breakfast and I was ignored. I found this to be very unprofessional. Overall stay was great.
Not in keeping with the Marriott brand. I'm not sure how this place gets consistent 5 star reviews. Gouging tactics, I asked to extend one night and the hotel charged me $194 when my original online booking rate was $110 - $84 dollars over my original amount. I did not expect this and was shocked when I reviewed my bill later. I will always remember this since I have always had horrible stays at this hotel, so much for brand loyalty. I'm not one to comment extensively, but this location has attention to detail.... from the lucid, worthwhile email before arrival (not the usual worthless content), to prompt posting of the stay credit & Bonvoy/Rewards points. staff was good on phone & in person. as a Marriott customer for 40 years & platinum status I appreciate all - & this location stands out. mild criticism may be need for less squeezable coffee cups, another trash can in breakfast area, maybe another waffle iron, + better fresh egg/bacon option (scramble... read more
