The location of this hotel was superb. Short 10-15 min drive to airport and to downtown. Only a 10-min subway ride into the heart of downtown. Adjacent to an Orange Line T station and one stop away from the shops and restaurants at Assembly Row. Right next to The Landing restaurants. Across the roadway from a nice walking path along a stream and that takes you to Assembly Row which is probably a 15-20-min walk. I stay here enough to know that there is a quiet side and a side that faces the street. I asked at check in if my room was in the quiet side. They said it was. It couldn’t have been any louder if I slept on the sidewalk. The tv was all messed up. It took a full 2 minutes to turn on and navigate to the channel you wanted. The WiFi never worked. And all this for $300 a night!! And this is the same hotel that had a hazmat spill in the laundry not 6 months ago and dumped everyone into the parking lot and lobby of the AC next doo... read more
You get what is advertised and you pay for. Excellent service (shout out to Gabby!) and great location. A short walk to Orange Line - Wellington stop. Lots of restaurants around the hotel to choose from. Adequate breakfast included which , given prices to eat out in Boston, is significant ! Lots of linen and comfortable bed. This is certainly an interesting hotel. It is right next to a major road, which is normally fine with Marriott, but this hotel must have had extremely cheap windows installed, and they also have a little window that you can open up. This is absolutely horrible to try to sleep as you can hear the cars revving up their engines at the light and going down the road.
