I was a Tricare referral, and I wish I’d requested a different place. They were unable to perform a routine procedure because they needed me to bring my own implant- something that I cannot do, because the implant is by prescription only, and my primary care doctor cannot order it for me, because they are not specialists. Gave me the runaround for months about scheduling, claimed they never heard from my primary care doctor, and tried to refuse declining my referral so I could ultimately be referred somewhere else. Unsanitary office. Doctor did not was her hands before or after doing a Pap smear. Went for a skin condition she told me to lay infront of the window with sun cause the sun has natural healing properties as a consensus…didn’t feel like my issues were taken seriously at all. She didn’t throw any of the material she used for my pap in the hazards red box just used a random kitchen trash can. So unsanitary. Let me tell my horror story. 9 years ago, I got an IUD after the birth of my daughter. A couple weeks later, I feared it came out, so I called and went back and they replaced it no questions asked. Fast forward to this year. I got my IUD taken out in the spring time. I was experiencing unusual pain for a few months after that, and went for an ultrasound. I wish I could give zero stars. This place was terrible. I went 3 different times to this place to be given an exam and was always given an excuse why I didn’t need one. I really feel because I am white they didn’t want me there. I have insurance and had a referral from another Dr saying I had recently had an abnormal exam and needed to see a specialist and twice I was turned away and 3rd time they called and canceled my appointment. Would give zero stars if possible. Shame on Tricare for not giving us better options than this office. First, the office itself is ridiculous. In a basement, no windows in the office, and only 4 chairs in the waiting room, which practically sits on top of the front desk. Therefore, there is absolutely no privacy when the front desk person is asking personal questions. It's all out in the open.
