The clinic has been great, but the pharmacy is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. I have spent over two hours on a Monday afternoon just to drop a prescription off. It then took another 45 minutes to get it filled. Four years later and I can not say it improved. I saw the doctor at 8:15am, she prescribed four medications. At 8:32 the pharmacy sent a confirmation that they received my request to activate them and I was assigned a ticket number. Like a visit to the DMV. constantly under staffed and no incentive for staff to see to patients in timely manner. Would be nice if the larger military health care system would resource this clinic better. Service members and their families deserve better.
Watched an employee with sickness like qualities (sweating, heavy breathing, etc) steal two cold compresses, put them on her face, rotate them to the other side (while wearing gloves, no mask, no apron)—and then tried to give my 18 month old a needle without changing her sweaty gloves. I’m not going to let some germ spreader touch my daughter after she just stole supplies from the drawer in front of me. And when I told the other staff, not one person reprimanded her. I couldn't be happier with the Pharmacy service. There may be a longer than usual wait on some occasions, but I'm very thankful to have such dedicated and efficient folks supporting us.
