A quick update to my prior review. Items in question were rebilled and my costs were adjusted accordingly. I'll be sure to stay on top of any future claims.
Beware of Balance Billing. Overall, my outpatient surgery experience was good...until the bills came. Although I was assured my insurance was accepted by the entire Fairchild facility, lab and anesthesiologist bills came from providers who chose to bill me for amounts not covered by insurance. Their mailing addresses were out of state and calls to them were not retuned.
