RecommendedWhen our dad needed to be in an assisted living environment, we were lucky enough to find Fairbanks Court. EVERYONE that works there went above and beyond to make dad comfortable. He was on the tail end of prostate cancer and wasn't eating much. Alexis made him cake two different times and he loved it. This is definitely among the best assisted living facilities I've ever seen. I've visited a number of times to volunteer with my children. I love that my kids are learning what skilled and compassionate care of our elders should truly look like, and in an environment that feels much more like a home than a "facility." The owners' integrity and genuine concern for their residents is evident in all they do - I cannot commend them or Fairbanks Court highly enough!
The family who owns Fairbanks Court went into this business because they love people and believe everyone should be valued and treated with dignity. They took in addiitonal residents who had been displaced during/after Harvey and were on site 24/7 during that time to make sure everyone was taken care of. It's a beautiful place and it doesn't feel like a facility, it feels like a home.
WARNING! This place is not what it appears to be. Please do not send your love one here. They want your love one to die quickly, and the hospice nurse to assist with that in giving them morphine BEFORE it is time. They want your loved one to go quickly so they can keep the money and have a bed available for the next patient.
