I never had the pleasure to use this hair salon. I contacted the owner on 8/21/24 and asked for a haircut. I didn’t like the way he was talking to me. He sounded condescending and he was pushing me to get coloring and blow dry, too. He called me later that day and said I have an appointment for the next day and again seemed pushy about color and blow dry. He then asked me for my credit card information and I said “no”. The salon owner took my appointment by phone for a full foil after I told him my car just broke down so I’d have to take an uber there, then upon arriving told me he wouldn’t do the service requested because my hair “couldn’t handle it” and that I “ might try to sue him if my hair fell out”. I left and went to Evolve and had the same service done and..low and behold..my hair stayed in my head! This was years ago btw. Richard is fantastic, he is the only hairdresser I know that is able to tame my wild hair. Worth the drive into to Marblehead.

I have been using this salon for many, many years. John was great to work with and always did a great job. Richard cuts my hair now that John has retired, and is carrying on the family tradition admirably. My wife and daughters also use Richard and love the results.
