I have been a patient for more than 12 years, and now I drive from the northern suburbs (past many other optometrists) because of the quality of care. Each person takes it upon themselves to make my visit go smoothly. They are always able to help me out in a pinch by working me into their schedule. They are adequately staffed so appointments are available within a reasonable amount of time.
I'm not sure if the guy on the prior review was having a bad day or what, but we have always received very friendly and courteous service with Fagedes & Garrity. The personnel are friendly and knowledgeable and Drs. Jenny & John are two of the nicest people I've personally ever met.
I live downtown and try to do business with local shops. The situation is pretty simply: I am leaving for a trip; my contact lens prescription was just changed, and I am waiting for the new order to arrive by mail. I called to ask if I could purchase a short term supply of contacts for my trip. The person was rude, not interested in the issue, and her attitude convinced me I would not want to do business with them anyway! Perhaps the negative reputation re: downtown Cincinnati is not just about “the long ago riots”.
